The Marriott Library Special Collections can be accessed a variety of ways. One of the means of discovering the content of the vast unpublished collections from the Manuscripts, Multimedia, and University Archives is through the use of finding aids which describe the contents of collections. Housed at the Marriott Library are the print versions of all available finding aids. However, here in electronic format are the growing EAD (Encoded Archival Description) versions. These can be searched quickly and the entire contents of every finding aid are available for keyword searching. While not all finding aids are posted on this special database, this is an excellent starting point for research. |
