The majority of the materials in this collection (budgets, committee agendas, committee minutes, contracts, correspondence, memoranda, reports, etc.) were generated in the decades following Dr. Jarvis's return to the university after a stint in Washington D. C. as assistant to U. S. Education Commissioner Sterling McMurrin in the early 1960's. All records are foldered alphabetically by subject in two sections, both of which contain university related materials--however most of the records reflecting Dr. Jarvis's administrative responsibilities as Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs are located in the first, called "Alphabetical Files".
