Because of the very explicit directions to these sites that Dr. Castleton supplied, especially in the notebooks, the University must restrict this collection's use in order to comply with the Archaeological Resource Protection Act (Public Law 96-95, 16 U.S.C. Section 470). A summary of this Act and its penalties is found in Appendix A of this register, page 57. To use this collection a researcher must complete the Manuscripts Division information form and must have a current, valid, picture identification in his/her possession.
