Abstract: The Leonidas Ralph Mecham Papers (1949-2006) consists of materials collected and written during the span of Mecham's career. They include research done for various federal court cases, his life summary, and his family correspondence and sketches. Leonidas Ralph Mecham (b.1928) served as the Director of the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts for over twenty years. He retired in April 2006. He received his B.S. in Political Science from the University of Utah in 1951 and his Master's of Public Administration from Harvard University in 1963.
