Abstract: The Utah Insane Asylum Records (1908-1917) are three books concerned with the financial aspects of running an asylum in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Books one and two contain information on the various operations, such as farm, kitchen, bakery, repair, office and inmate expenses. The third book is a cash-only record, with entries for the persons paid.
